Jill Boyte - Total Right Hemisphere Expirience

Jill bolte seorang ahli syaraf yang mengalami serangan stroke. Dalam presentasinya kali ini, Jill menceritakan dengan sangat indah tentang out of body expirience. Jill mengantarkan kita teori tentang kekinian si otak kanan yang bisa sangat indah. Tanpa harus direcoki oleh si otak kiri yang sibuk mengingatkan diri kita sebagai suatu untaian informasi.

Otak kanan yang berfungsi paralel, yang menerima semua informasi saat ini secara bersama-sama dari seluruh sensor yang ada. Otak kanan yang merasakan sentuhan, melihat terang dan warna, yang mewangikan aroma. Dan semua itu terjadi saat bersamaan. Semua energi-energi tersebut  ditangkap oleh semua indra yang ada ditubuh kita. Kemudian informasi tersebut dirubah menjadi impuls melalui syaraf dikirim langsung ke otak kanan. Tidak ada kenangan masa lalu, tidak ada harapan masa depan.  Yang ada hanyalah saat ini.

Saat ini yang dipenuhi oleh interaksi energi yang terjadi antara alam semesta dan kumpulan molekul yang membentuk rangka dan tubuh kita. Momen ini adalah momen yang sama, namun saat kita bisa melepaskan diri kita dari sakit masa lalu , ketakutan masa depan (Jill merasakannya saat ia terkena stroke).  Maka kita akan merasakan keindahan, kita akan merasakan kedamaian, dan kita akan merasakan Nirvana.

Suatu kondisi, damai yang kita cari saat kita mendambakan tentang ketenangan. Saat kita menyerahkan diri kita dalam meditasi. Saat diri kita tercenung pada saat-saat spiritualitas kita yang tertinggi. Mungkin saat-saat dimana kita sedang menunggu lepasnya jiwa ini meninggalkan fisik tubuh ini. Dan saat kita telah menemukan masa itu, maka itu saat yang tepat untuk bertanya untuk apa kita semua ada di dunia ini.
